Why it matters: In Epoch AI’s July 2026 Ipsos survey, 67% of computer, engineering, and science workers who recently used AI at work had an employer-provided subscription, versus 41% in other management, business, and arts roles, and only 10% in trades, production, and transport. Free plans remain the modal access path overall (46%).
